WORLD MEN'S CHAMPIONSHIPS

9. 4. 2006

Scotland won only their 4th World title in 47 years beating Canada 7-4 in the final. This came after they had lost the Page 1/2 game to Canada by 2-8, but they bounced back by beating Norway in the bronze medal game.

For 3 members of the team it was their second World Championship Warwick Smith and Ewan MacDonald (1999) and fifth man Peter Smith (1991).

Ewan MacDonald also won the Collie Campbell Sportsmanship award.
