Madrid to host the 2007 European Mixed Curling Championship

palacio_de_hielo_madrid_02 Madrid will stage the 2007 European Mixed Curling Championship, it was announced today by the European Curling Federation (ECF).

The championship will be held September 24-29, 2007 at the Palacio de Hielo “Dreams” at Madrid, and will mark the first time that Spain has hosted a European event.

The 2007 EMCC will be the third edition of the EMCC; the inaugural event took place in Andorra in 2005 with the 2006 edition taking place in Claut, Italy.
