World Wheelchair Curling Championship

Congratulations to Norway,winners of the Gold Medal at the World Wheelchair Curling Championship held in Solleftea Sweden.

An exiting final which was decided on a measure on the last stone of the last end resulted in Norway's win over Switzerland who took the Silver Medal.

Scotland, after being three nil down after two ends against Canada in the Bronze medal game took a four in the third end. This lead was sustained by winning two more ends resulting in the final score of seven to four for Scotland.

The teams experienced extremely cold weather but this was more than compensated by the excellent and generous hospitality from the Swedish Curling Association.
