FIRST EUROPEAN MIXED TITLE FOR SWITZERLAND

For the first time ever Switzerland captured the European Mixed crown!

 

The team composed of Thomas Lips, Manuela Siegrist, Martin Rios and Manuela Netzer-Kormann beat Team Gemany (Skip Alexander Baumann) quite clearly in the Saturday afternoon's final with 9-3. The second Mixed medal (this time bronze) for the Czech Republic (after a silver medal won at EMCC 2008 at Kitzbühel, AUT) was secured by team Chaloupek.
